๐ Overview
Introduction to JackRamp
JackRamp is a pioneering decentralized protocol designed to bridge real-world assets (money/currency) with the blockchain ecosystem. By focusing on creating an accessible on-ramp and off-ramp infrastructure, JackRamp enables seamless conversion between fiat and digital assets through the issuance of a stablecoin, jackUSD. With an innovative use of AVS, JackRamp bringing transparency and security, making traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi) seamless.
Key Features
Decentralized On-Ramp* & Off-Ramp JackRampโs decentralized on-ramp* and off-ramp solution allows users to convert fiat to jackUSD and back with transparency and security, free from reliance on centralized entities. By leveraging blockchain for price transparency and security, JackRamp ensures a seamless and fair conversion experience for users. Note: At the moment, the on-ramp is still in development.
jackUSD (Stablecoin) jackUSD is a stablecoin backed by real-world deposits (e.g., bank deposits) and supported through decentralized issuance. The value of jackUSD is pegged to fiat currencies and the on-ramp - off-ramp prices are maintained via an Automated Market Maker (AMM) that ensures decentralized price discovery and liquidity. Its decentralized, multi-issuer model allows various financial institutions globally to issue jackUSD, providing adaptability to regional regulations. JackUSD democratizes the on-ramp and off-ramp processes, allowing anyone to be a merchant. Note: At the moment, jackUSD is backed by M0 (a USD-backed stablecoin with multi-issuer capability).
AVS (Actively Validated Services) JackRamp integrates EigenLayer's Active Validation Service (AVS) to enhance security and decentralization in verifying real-world assets. By utilizing AVS, JackRamp leverages Ethereum's validator set to validate bank deposits off-chain and provide secure attestations, making jackUSD issuance and redemption both transparent and reliable. AVS validators are incentivized through staking, with slashing mechanisms in place to maintain accuracy and accountability, ensuring jackUSD remains securely backed by real-world assets.
Multi-Issuer Model (Coming Soon ๐) JackRamp is developing a multi-issuer model that will enable regulated financial institutions worldwide to issue jackUSD instead of relying on a single centralized institution. This decentralized issuance approach enhances regulatory adaptability, reduces reliance on single entities, and expands jackUSDโs accessibility across diverse regions.
Real-World Asset AMM (Coming Soon ๐) JackRamp's AMM facilitates price discovery and liquidity for on-ramp and off-ramp transactions. This innovation expands AMM capabilities beyond crypto assets to traditional financial assets, setting the stage for more robust DeFi ecosystems.
