The Swap page in optiFinance provides users with a seamless way to acquire the tokens required for their chosen investment strategies. If a user does not currently hold the appropriate tokens needed for staking, they can easily swap their existing assets for the required tokens directly through this feature.

How It Works

  • The Swap functionality allows users to exchange one cryptocurrency for another, ensuring they have the necessary tokens to participate in their selected investment strategy.

  • optiFinance sources liquidity from the largest and most reliable pools available on decentralized exchanges (DEX) , ensuring competitive rates and minimal slippage for users.

  • By leveraging these pools, the platform guarantees efficient and secure token swaps, enabling users to quickly align their portfolios with their risk profiles.

Why Use the Swap Feature?

  • Convenience : Eliminates the need to leave the platform to acquire tokens.

  • Efficiency : Provides access to deep liquidity pools, ensuring optimal swap rates.

  • Integration : Seamlessly integrates with the Agent Wallet, allowing users to execute swaps without manual approvals or additional steps.

Note

For the purposes of this hackathon, the Swap feature uses mock liquidity pools rather than real decentralized exchange pools. This ensures a controlled testing environment while demonstrating the platform's capabilities. In future iterations, optiFinance will integrate with real DEX pools to provide a fully functional swapping experience.
